Fawn’s Ridge trail is a two part trail at Lake of the Ozarks State Park. The first part is on fine chat and wheelchair accessible. It winds through a typical, and lovely Ozark forest. Dogs on leashes are fine. The trail is open year-round.
Wheelchair accessible portion:

About half way down the trail, it loops back on the chat, or hikers can join up with the Lake View Trail, which we elected to do. Because…why not? The trail was varied in terrain including root stumps, rocky parts, tall grasses, Ozark cliffs, and a stunning lake view. The trail then skirting a portion of the campgrounds back through some woods before returning to the beginning of the Fawn’s Ridge Trail.

Hike on, my peeps,
