Hikers, don’t discount an archery trail. They are worth the walk.

There are several places in the state of Kansas where those interested in archery can participate. Some are State Parks, some are city parks or other areas. A lost of these are here. Check your state for trails near you, or consider hiking one if you are in the area.

Archery trails are a great way to test overall archery acumen by providing targets along a walking trail. Each target is a unique experience giving archers challenging ways to practice. We saw quite a variety of targets along the way.

That said, I do not shoot bows. But that doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy a hike through the woods and grasslands. StevetheBikeGuy and I walked the archery trail and had a great experience.
