B and G Scoops

Just a hop, skip, and a jump from Knob Noster State Park and Campgrounds is a little local place called B & G scoops.

This gem of a place offers Central Dairy Ice Cream in 40 flavors. I had butter brickle and it had the texture and taste of home made ice cream. There were also donuts, a variety of coffees/espressos, and Italian creme sodas. Additional ice cream treats feature ice cream nachos, sandwiches and pre-made desserts. Waffle cones are also made on premise, fresh daily. I watched as a worker was making them between customers.

B & G was fairly busy on a Saturday afternoon. A steady stream of customers, mostly local it seemed, was a testament of the quality food and drink served.

When we go back to Knob Noster State Park, we’ll be stopping by for some treats again.
