Dominion Beach Provincial Park- Dominion, Cape Breton

Dominion Beach Provincial Park is a 1.5km (1 mile) sandy beach with a walking track boardwalk, various sitting areas, public bathrooms and free outdoor showers to rinse off under.

One of the more popular and accessible beaches in the CBRM, They offer supervised swimming, but only along the first portion of the beach (established with markers)

There is no shortage of parking with two large lots. The gated lot (near the change house / showers) closes at 9pm – late night walks and swims mean farther parking. It’s worth to note that late night swims and walks are unsupervised.
