Spring Hiking at the Ha Ha Tonka State Park

Ha Ha Tonka, or Laughing Waters has a collection of various levels or hiking trails and building ruins. It consists of 3,700 acres on the Niangua arm of the Lake of the Ozarks, about five miles south of Camdenton, Missouri, in the United States.

Climb up to the castle for a beautiful view of the spring source below. The castle itself is in ruins but hikers can view around the outside. Or, hike among the dogwoods. Any time of year is a good time to hike in Ha Ha Tonka. There are several levels of difficulty trails running through the park. We tried Devil’s Kitchen. A beautiful hike.

Distance: 1.3 miles / Elevation Gain: 209 feet / Route Type: Loop / Intermediate Difficulty
